OK so if you’re reading this then Christmas is starting to head to the top of your “List”. And despite the need to save money with inflating costs, and despite everyone in your business having to-do lists stretching into next financial year, you know buying Christmas gifts in 2022 is a good idea.
Well, we agree 100%. Creating a culture of appreciation in and around your business has a massive return on investment! And gift giving is a tangible physical expression of appreciation.
Appreciation is valuable for its own sake but it’s also a two-way street. Givers gain!. Appreciate and you will be appreciated!. So here are some of the gains from being appreciative.
There isn’t an industry in Australia that isn’t competitive, and your clients and prospective clients have plenty of other choices than buying from you. I know you have all the logical reasons why they should buy or keeping buying from you, but if you’re just one of a bunch of companies on someone’s pro/con list then you’ll get lost in the crowd. Gifts are physical and memorable.
A great relationship with your clients is currency. Your competitor beats your price. Your team has stuffed up with a client. Your clients will overlook the negatives if you have a great relationship. Gifting on its own doesn’t guarantee a good relationship but it is part of the relationship package.
Hampers create that instant wow…amazing ……but they also last longer than swipe on their phone or a scroll of their mouse. It’s a much better ROI than money you spent on digital marketing like emails and Facebook ads. Just think. What has more impact. Another email or a stunning package…delivered
There are jobs aplenty so, now more than ever, staff retention is a number one business success factor. We know that job satisfaction is more important than salary levels. Appreciation by employers is a major factor in that satisfaction. Again, gifting alone isn’t enough but it is an important part of the “package”. Let’s face it, $100 - $200 spent on a Christmas gift of appreciation is going to have more impact than the same amount added to an annual salary.
Appreciated staff are more productive. Full Stop. Say No More!
When your staff are putting in that extra effort, when they decide to stay with you despite the pressures from the job or life in general, then its really important that their family is on board too. That’s why we think hampers make a great gift. There’s something for everyone, to share and a reason why they’ll love your job too.
So let’s circle back around to your clients. Oh, and don’t forget your suppliers too. We know it takes a village (aka Team) to do what you need to do and support your business. It’s not just about the Manager or CEO …it’s the team within. A Christmas hamper is a great way to share the gift of Christmas to one and all.
Have a Merry Appreciative Christmas and look forward to a happy New Year.
BTW Creative Hampers have some awesome Corporate Christmas Hampers that can also be customised as branded hampers.
